Successful partnership with the LIFE programme
The LIFE programme of the European Commission is the central financing instrument for measures aimed at environmental conservation and the protection of species diversity. VERBUND has already been able to implement large-scale projects and trendsetting measures in the vicinity of power plants in numerous partner projects with support from the LIFE fund. Thanks to this support, VERBUND is able as project applicant to connect existing projects and increase the ecological value added on the Inn and Danube.
